Banco de Vizcaya

In 1955, Miquel Farré was commissioned to decorate the Banco de Vizcaya branch on Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona. Across an extensive mural over 25 meters long, he conceived a continuous composition centered on the Bilbao estuary, where industry, port activity, and figures representing various trades and social classes build a panorama of the industrial city and its people.
