Catedral de Solsona

Created in 1949, Miquel Farré's frescoes adorn the Baroque shrine of Solsona Cathedral with vivid colors and a complex iconographic program dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The work stands out for its simplicity and the inclusion of period anecdotes, portraying local Solsona figures within biblical scenes.

In this depiction of the Wedding at Cana, on the right side wall, he attires the guests in modern Catalan dress and gives them the features of individuals associated with the Solsona temple. He repeats, with a few variations, the figure of Christ he had previously painted at the Tibidabo.
